A user group for people in the Charlotte area who work with data.

This is a restart. Charlotte has had a data user group before, under more than one name, and each time it ended the same way — one organizer, one sponsor, one venue, and then nothing. We are rebuilding it so that no single person going quiet can stop it again.

Three things we have committed to in writing:

• Vendor-neutral. No vendor's name in ours. Sponsors rotate, and no sponsor gets two nights running.
• Your details are not the product. We do not sell, trade, or hand attendee lists to sponsors. Sponsors get audience numbers, never people.
• Free to attend, always.

The first three meetings are online, so distance and traffic are not a reason to miss one. In‑person nights follow, rotating around the metro rather than always landing uptown.

If you work with data anywhere in the stack — engineering, analytics, platform, governance, science, or the AI work sitting on top of all of it — this is meant for you. Beginners included. That is not a courtesy; a room where nobody asks a basic question is a room that has stopped teaching anyone anything.
